Introducing the new Outdoor Indoor Collection from Evitavonni
Attending the trade preview of London Design Week at the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, last week gave me a great opportunity to check out a host of new products from my favourite furniture and fabric suppliers.
Among the many beautiful collections on offer, one of my favourites was the new Outdoor | Indoor collection from Evitavonni.
Inspired by a trip to Venice and classic films from the golden era of Hollywood, this new range is comprised of luxurious fabrics which stay true to the overall aesthetic of understated elegance for which Evitavonni is celebrated, yet are hard-wearing, water-resistant and practical.
Evitavonni have really achieved their goal of “high performance luxury” with these fabrics. Far from the coarse textures and rough feel which are often associated with outdoor fabrics, this range belies its durable nature with silky and soft finishes making them equally suitable for interior use - the ideal choice for schemes which seek to blend the indoor and outdoor spaces.
With contemporary living often calling for an integration of the garden space with the interior scheme, particularly with large French or bi-fold doors increasingly popular, the Outdoor | Indoor collection offers designers a fantastic opportunity for a holistic approach.
Building on the classic Evitavoni greys and taupes, the colour palette for the Outdoor | Indoor collection also includes a golden ochre, burnt sienna, pool blue and crisp black and whites.
With the spring weather starting to get warmer and the promise of summer around the corner, this is a key time for clients to start thinking about their outdoor spaces and I, for one, am looking forward to using some of these new fabrics to bring them to life!
